Welcome to Blackbird Ranch—top-notch whitetail, exotic hunting, fishing, and camping on a sprawling, picturesque landscape of gently rolling hills under the beautiful Texas sky. We also provide other activities such as kayaking and skeet shooting. Two large lakes total about 100 acres of water. Our goal is to provide our guests with an outdoor experience second to none.
We have over 1,600 acres of land. Some 500 acres are high-fenced and stocked with axis, blackbuck, fallow deer, wild boar, and 200- to 300-inch class whitetail deer. The other 1,100 acres abound with whitetail deer, waterfowl, and wild boar. We have plenty of fishing sites, so be sure to bring your rods and tackle for a little midday action. Our 60-acre and 35-acre lakes both are stocked with world-class trophy Florida bass, crappie, catfish, and bluegill. For your comfort, we offer a ranch-style lodge perched on one of our lakes. Its 2,000 square feet are well-appointed with all the amenities of home, including a full kitchen and indoor fireplace.
We are a remarkable property with all the right ingredients for a terrific outdoor experience without having to travel far. We are centrally located less than 1.5 hours from Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and Abilene. We also are a close-knit team that genuinely cares about and stands behind every aspect of your visit.
